Hard Drive Failure Symptoms?

Over a period of several days I got a number of error messages: division by 0, illegal operation, blue screen, until finally drive C could not be accessed. Emergency recovery diskettes couldn't find it, either. I went to my D drive, switched to C from there, and my files and folders were still there. Went to DOS, looked at C, everthing was there. Rebooted and C couldn't be found. Rebooted, and lo! C was back. C is humming along perfectly today, no problems, lots of use, last 3 days. Are these hard drive failure symptoms, or what?

Sounds like a sector went bad and recovered.
This could be a warning to back up your stuff.
You could use this drive as a secondary one if you don't trust it.
BTW, if your bios found it then its probably bad sectors.
