Do I want Celeron or Pentium 4 Processor ??

I am going to purchase a desktop for my son who is a freshman in college. I don't know what the disadvantage of a Celeron Processor is, it is MUCH cheaper than a Pentium 4. I want this computer to last him for several years. Which should I choose???

Definitely a pentium. Celeron is the cheaper intel processor and is also slower. Donna
