Hi,
We are runnining a rating system for South African chess players, and I would like players to be able to view their ratings (and other info) on our site.
I am doing the calculations in a Excel spreadsheet, and importing int MS Access.
Can I make a data access page where the player can enter his surname and initials and view his information?
There are almost 13,000 records, so surname and initials will sometimes give duplications?
Please help... :)

sounds like that may be a problem especially as i would guess that the players may increase from 13000, I would suggest rather than just their surname and innitials - it might be easier when importing the data into access and you then create a 'Key' (i.e. a series of number etc that are unique to each entry - the most basic would be numbers going up from 1) then they cound enter their innitials and surname and then their, shall we call it.. enterance number (the key number). if all criteria match the scores are displayed. - unless you want them to see everyones scores in which there would be no rule to check their name and number.

Hope this helps
