i have been told there are no dumb questions so..after downloading java i cannot play wordox in www.uproar.co.uk (english) unless i open a room myself. i am unable to open a room myself, i think there is something in java that stops this, but not sure it is java... so (as i am nearly compter illiterate and ther are many of us out there) can i trn java off temporarily to check this and then turn it back on when i go out of this site? if so how and then how do i do that and easily turn it off so that i don't need to remove and reload it? txs

if you d/loaded java, then it is going to be in the objects settings... delete it this way, open internet, click on tools\options, then click on the button SETTINGS in the general tab, then click on VIEW OBJECTS . this shows you all the objects you have downloaded.. click on the Java one and hit the delete key on the kbd. voila.. its gone.
