Your Registration and User Account

The registration information that you provide to Newbie.org is considered private and personal between you and Newbie.org. All user accounts are governed by and subject to the following rules:


INDEMNITY

Newbie.org takes no responsibility and is not liable for any actions taken based on advice from Newbie.org's forums/web chat/blog. Newbie.org or any Newbie.org representative may not be held responsible for any advice supplied which has been acted upon. Newbie.org will endeavor to supply a professional resolve to an issue encountered, however, in the unlikely event that there is loss of data, Newbie will be working on the understanding that the 'poster' has recent backups and has accepted the fact that there may be data loss.Our Staff will make every attempt to help you to the best of our ability. However, there may be times when, due to circumstances beyond our control, a reformat may be your only option. We will avoid this measure at all costs, and will only use it as a last resort.

Newbie.org disclaims all liability for messages appearing on message boards, comments made in chat rooms, Web pages or URL Links posted in Newbie.org, blog entries and comments, and other materials created by Newbie.org users. Newbie.org has no responsibility for such content and is merely providing access to such content as a service to you.


ACCOUNT USE and RESPONSIBILITY

Use of your account is expressly limited to you. Your account may not be transferred or shared with any other party, temporarily or permanently.

Access to Newbie.org is not limited by age, and as such all postings must be of 'acceptable' content and must not be offensive in any way.

You agree to bear sole responsibility for all use of your account and for the confidentiality of your password. To protect your privacy, Newbie.org may suspend access or change access to your account immediately upon discovery that your account has been accessed by another person, or upon notification by you that your password has been lost, stolen or otherwise compromised.

You agree to provide an accurate email address. Newbie.org may, at its sole discretion, suspend any account that is found to contain an invalid email address. Updates to your email address are made from "My Controls" link (top right). and in your "Change Email Address" page (bottom left)

If you have reason to believe that your account is no longer secure (for example, in the event of a loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of your ID, password, you must promptly change your password and notify Newbie.org of the problem by giving notice via Private Message (PM) to ALL Moderators.

To cancel your Account, notify Newbie.org of the reason by giving notice via Private Message (PM) to ALL Moderators who will permanently disable your account.

RULES OF ONLINE BEHAVIOR
Newbie.org does not screen or edit messages posted in message boards, comments made in chat rooms, forum board, or any other user-created content. However, Newbie.org reserves the right to monitor said content and to remove any objectionable material at any time, at our sole discretion. By viewing and/or participating in message boards, chat rooms, posted content, or any other future services provided by Newbie.org, you acknowledge that you may encounter material that you find offensive. Newbie.org disclaims any responsibility for said material, however, advising a Newbie.org Moderator of said content will initiate a investigation of the content and appropriate action will be taken at Newbie.org's discretion.

No SPAMMING or Advertising in any section please. Unsolicited Spam postings will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned from the forum. This also includes all areas of the Members sections, you will have your websites\adverts\links\insults will be removed and you will be visually warned and if you repeat the indiscretion, you will be banned.

Links to offending sites (like porn, cracks, etc..) will be removed, and the member will be banned.

Do-not create Multiple profiles to work the boards, only Newbie.org Moderators and Admins may do this to test the boards without their mod privileges.

Once you are a member, you may not post hijackthis logs for non members, please ask the non member to read these 'Terms of Service' and to also become a member if they wish to benefit form all of the facilities of Newbie.org.

Doing any of the following can result in immediate removal of your account:

*attaching files to messages that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may adversely affect the operation of another's computer

*participating in such a way as to undermine the operation of Newbie.org, a forum, chat room, blog, or other Newbie.org service or future service

*using the message board, chat room, blog, or other service to 'harass' others

*using Newbie.org to disseminate any inappropriate, defamatory, libelous, threatening, infringing, obscene, or unlawful material or information.

*violating any copyright law, or other intellectual property law,

*violating any criminal statute

*engaging in computer activity commonly known as a Denial of Service attack

*promoting the violation of this agreement

Any attempt to manipulate forum rankings by artificially inflating counts of visitors, message views, postings or other items used in determining the forum's standing will be considered a violation of this agreement, and subject to any and all punitive actions specified herein for such violations, including closure of forum and termination of account.


By participating in Newbie.org, you agree not to impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Message boards, Web pages, chat rooms, blogs, and other services provided by Newbie.org may not be used for unauthorized commercial purposes (including participation in any affiliate program other than that operated by Newbie.org) is prohibited. If, in the sole discretion of Newbie.org, you are found to be using Newbie.org for any inappropriate commercial purpose, Newbie.org reserves the right to take action to end said activity.

Newbie.org may terminate your account if it believes, in its sole discretion, that you have violated any of the terms of this agreement, or that you have engaged in any behavior that Newbie.org believes, in its sole discretion, is harmful to the operation of Newbie.org
