- Why FireFox instead of Mozilla? At Newbie.org we like our clients to do one job and do that job extremely well. We use one program for email (Pegasus or Eudora) and we use another program for browsing (FireFox or Opera). We don't use the email or news features of Mozilla. Mozilla is the full form of FireFox. Mozilla is everything FireFox is with more.
We prefer to keep our news client and email client separate from the browser. However, if you are the type that like to have browser, email and news all-in-on then Mozilla is the browser for you.
By the way if you say: "I much prefer my Netscape to Mozilla." you are just being silly. Netscape is Mozilla after several megabytes of marketing garbage is added. Run the straight, stripped-down Mozilla instead. Same core engine.
- Mozilla's interface employs the standard browsing paradigm with Back, Forward, and Refresh buttons. It's skinnable, meaning you can download new looks for it. It features the ability to disable unrequested pop-up windows on Web sites. Mozilla also lets you open multiple browser windows and display multiple Web pages in a single tabbed window at the same time.
